Emma Fontenot
Congratulations to Protege Company member, Emma Fontenot, for receiving Velocity Teen MVA WINNER this summer. Emma competed against 200 other Teen dancers and was selected as one of three winners. This is a huge accomplishment and DGI is so very proud of you!
Ariella Guidry + Devin Jordan
Congratulations to Protege Company member, Ariella Guidry, and Protege Company alum and DGI Staff Member, Devin Jordan for being selected to Velocity Dance Convention’s MVA+ Program. Ariella and Devin are invited to travel with Velocity during the 2024-2025 dance year and assist classes and gain more exposure to the commercial dance world. Congrats!

What is DGI Company?
DGI Company is a dance competition program that is focused not only on rigorous dance technique and performance, but also on creating a supportive and creative environment where dancers can learn responsibility, leadership skills and the importance of teamwork. Our goal is for our students to learn and grow as dancers, performers and most of all people, with the goal of preparing dancers for the next step in their lives.
How can I join?
- Auditions for the 2024-2025 DGI Company will be held Saturday, August 3.
- The audition fee will be $25.
- To be eligible, dancers auditioning must attend a minimum of 4 Summer Class days.
- Dancers must be turning Age 6 by January 1 to be eligible to audition.
